Curb Your Smoking Addiction

Quitting smoking is one of the hardest things people will try to do during their lifetime. Research says the physical act of smoking, coupled with the addiction to nicotine, is harder to give up than even drugs or alcohol.

For many smokers, the very act of smoking repulses them, yet they are addicted to the behavior. People that attempt to quit smoking often try and fail, try and fail, as the push and pull of cigarettes lures them back. Even the President of the United States, Barack Obama, struggles with smoking, although reports say he has quit for nine months.

Some people say to just quit cold turkey. Others suggest gums, nicotine patches, and even hypnotism for those with extreme addictions, but the struggles to quit are incredibly hard. For many smokers, the slightest traumatic event or stress sends them back to the habit that ultimately is killing them.

Electronic cigarettes are giving some smokers a healthier option while fulfilling their physical need to smoke and giving them some nicotine, all while avoiding unhealthy tar and other chemicals and the nasty smell that comes with smoking.

If you haven’t heard of, or haven’t tried, an electronic cigarette, then it’s time you try them or suggest them to a fellow smoker. There is no flame to light, as the cigarette operates on battery power before the smoker exhales water vapor.

Electronic cigarette starter kits are currently available and are a terrific idea for anyone that has struggled with their desire to become a nonsmoker. Many that have tried electronic cigarettes have reduced their habitual use and eventually beat their demons. Electronic cigarettes are healthier than regular cigarettes by a long margin, and are a great alternative for families that are concerned about the effects of secondhand smoke.

So, find an electronic cigarette starter kit and get on the road that leads to healthiness and happiness.

There was a time when everyone smoked. Bond, James Bond was not 007 without a Turkish cigarette in his hand. Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack always had a drag in their hands, and they were willing to bum it to fans willing to ask. Having a cigarette was not a matter of wanting a smoke for most of the 20th Century. Cigarettes were a need. Cigarettes were part of the rations for troops sent to Europe to fight in World Wars I and II.

It has been more than a generation since the world wars, with the Cold War ending as well. The changing political climate has also meant a change in taste. Smoking a cigarette used to be the ultimate in being cool. Now it represents a low brow act that is as outdated as a mullet haircut. Smoking might not be a habit that endears someone to peers, but quitting is still a difficult task that often requires more than just will power. Smoking is a physical addiction that causes severe withdrawal symptoms in people attempting to quit without some form of assistance.

Luckily for people attempting to quit smoking, there are ways now that make stopping easier than ever. The electric cigarette might be the best way ever invented to quit smoking. People do not have to quit the physical act of smoking with the electric cigarette. Breathing in still requires inhaling a vapor, but instead of smoke and tar, the electric cigarette uses water vapor. The addicting drug in cigarettes is nicotine. Nicotine vapor can be put in electric cigarettes to help to stop an addiction to traditional cigarettes.

Cigarette smoking has become taboo in the past several years. Even though smoking is no longer a social norm, for people who are used to smoking, kicking the habit is difficult. The electric cigarette provides smokers with the means to kick the habit in a healthy and effective way.

According to recent statistics about 40 million Americans move from one place to another every year. Additionally, at least three-quarters of everyone in the country moves at least once every five years. There are many reasons why a person decides to make a move: starting college or a new job, buying your first home, beginning a new relationship or just simply because you want something new. Whatever the reason for the move, here are a few tips you can follow to make sure your move is hassle free.

Pack Early

The average time between declaring you’re going to move and actually moving is close to 30 days. For apartment dwellers, that is the amount of time you need to give the landlord your notice. This means you will have 30 days to pack everything. What do most people do? Wait until the night before to start packing. Mistake! The best course of action is to pack a box or two every day for those 30 days. This will also help you get a grip on the total amount of boxes you’ll be moving.

Compare Movers

Hiring a moving company is a very important decision. You’re basically entrusting all your personal belongings to virtual strangers hoping they won’t lose or break them. As with any other major decision in your life you should shop around. Did you sign a lease on the very first apartment or house you looked at? Probably not, so why should you hire the first moving company you contact? If you get at least four moving quotes you’ll be able to truly shop and compare.

Label Every Box

Once you move, chances are you’re not going to unpack everything that same night. Everything should be labeled according to the room where they’ll end up. The most important boxes should be labeled: clothes for work and sheets for bed!

Many people who have to live with the ravages of trauma, prefer the numbing aspects of the popular prescription drugs. Many doctors are now including therapy as part of the prescription package. Part of the therapy treatment for those who suffer from anxiety is usually a reflective meditation. Those who believe in alternative health and healing also believe in healing the chakras and meditation. This is often recommended to many people who suffer from anxiety. Just like the naturopathic doctor, this involves in the balancing of the energies of the human body, mind and soul. Some people have become so interested in learning about other cultures and stumble onto this on the way. They then start to build a ritual of meditation and visualization.

They are looking for ways to meditation with self realization and healing. David Ison has done this and has added his music as the tool to synergize it all. David Ison healed himself with this technique. They told him that he could never walk again and instead worked through it all with determination and his newly developed combination of healing music and medtation. This method will be successful for those with physical wounds or emotional wounds.

David Ison writes the music and looks at it as a tool for spiritual growth. He deliberately uses special chord structures that will mimic the feeling of breathing. The music rises and falls as you breathe and feel your stress reduce and fall just like the chords do. This is very popular among many hospital trauma departments now. It could be of benefit to all of us. We would all benefit from meditation to music each day. His music is award winning, his newest is The Musical Body Chacra Meditations For Spiritual Exploration.
